Posey Transfer Belts help prevent caregiver back injuries and assist in safe patient transfers and ambulation. The Transfer Belt is wider than traditional gait belts for greater contact area with the patient. Each Transfer Belt comes with mutilple vertical and horizontal hand grips that allows the caregive to choose the best leverage point. Available a quick-release nylon buckle. Choose either the economy or deluxe model. The economy model is 4" wide while the deluxe model is 6" wide and has a padded inner surface. Both models are machine washable.
For safer transfers, it is recommended that both patient and caregiver wear a transfer belt. This helps lower patient anxiety and reduces backstrain on caregiver.
